Russell Island
There was a slight improvement in our weather conditions today, but we remained in the same spot bobbing in the anchorage. The wind was noticeably calmer, but the waves were still choppy. Rain showers cycled on and off all day under a solid cloud cover. We sure miss the sun as our solar panels' production has been negligible. We ended up running the generator for most of the afternoon to keep the freezer cold and the batteries topped off. Overall, it was another slow day aboard Crossroads. I worked on a computer project and checked in with Aunt B for a recap of the Easter activities. Rebekah admirably filled my role of photographer and I even made the family photo ... wearing my bunny ears. Our plan is to raise the anchor tomorrow morning, get fuel, and then head into Spanish Wells. We are looking forward to getting off the boat, walking around, and seeing some friendly faces.
