Mother Nature Puts On A Show

Rock Sound

Mother Nature pulled out all of her tricks today. The day started with wind and rain which lasted through early afternoon. I kept busy by cleaning out more drawers and cabinets, rotating our linens and towels with the ones washed a few days ago, and prepping some chicken and veggies for future meals. A small amount of sunshine peeked through the thick humidity and clouds in late afternoon. More showers moved in around 6:00 and caught enough of the sinking sunlight to produce a nice rainbow to close out the day. A faint double arch briefly appeared. It was still raining, but there was no better place to view the light show than from Fiberglass Beach. We're hopeful that this weather system is finally moving beyond us and that we'll be able to change our scenery tomorrow. We've checked multiple weather reports, but will defer to the eyeball test and weather rock inspection in the morning.
